This notice explains how information is handled when you use jtlgo.com or request services marketed under the JTLGO brand.

Identity and data-responsibility disclosure

JTLGO is the public-facing website and service brand, and JTL Global Logistics is a display name used on this website. Neither name is presented here as a registered legal name. The registered legal name, registration number, and registration document of the legal person responsible for a particular inquiry or transaction have not yet been published on this website. The brand and display name therefore do not, by themselves, identify or verify a particular data controller.

References to "we", "us", "our", or "JTL" elsewhere in this notice describe the website and service operation. Where a legal obligation is involved, those references mean the legal person responsible for the relevant inquiry or transaction, not the brand itself.

To request the responsible legal person, data-controller role, processor or service-provider role, processing location, or other transaction-specific privacy information, use the Contact by email route with the subject Data responsibility request. Include the page used and any inquiry or order reference, but do not include passwords, full payment-card details, or identity documents in the initial message. If the information you require is not provided, do not submit additional sensitive information or continue the affected transaction.

Website inquiry forms submit directly to the service API at api.jtlgo.com. Inquiry records are stored in an access-controlled service database and may be delivered to the support team through configured email infrastructure, including SendGrid or SMTP fallback. Web3Forms is not used for these forms. This technical routing does not, by itself, identify the legal person acting as controller or processor for a particular transaction.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Cookies

We use necessary storage for login, security, cart, language, currency and requested services. In the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, optional analytics stay off until you choose. Outside those regions, analytics may be enabled by default unless you previously rejected them. When analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics may receive consent-aware cookieless measurement signals; Microsoft Clarity loads only after analytics consent. Advertising storage and ad personalization remain disabled. You can change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer.

5A. Partner Attribution Storage

When you open a valid JTLGO partner link, we may store a partner-attribution record for up to 30 days in local storage, a first-party cookie, and related service request headers. The stored fields are limited to the partner identifier or code, channel, campaign (if supplied), an anonymous sourcing session ID, the signed attribution token, and its expiry time.

We use this record only to connect the first valid partner touch to your sourcing session, sign-in, registration, and qualifying order activity. We do not use device fingerprinting, and we do not create partner attribution from IP address plus user-agent combinations.

If a valid, unexpired attribution record already exists, later partner links do not replace it. The 30-day limit applies only before account binding. After you sign in or create an account, the assigned partner remains linked to future qualifying orders unless an authorized administrator makes an audited correction.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To permanently remove a JTLGO account created on the website or mobile app, use the self-service account deletion page. Authentication and explicit confirmation are required. Accounts with an active order cannot be deleted until the order is delivered or cancelled.

Send a rights request through the Contact by email route with the subject Privacy rights request. The request will be routed to the responsible legal person, and the response should identify the applicable controller or processor role. Rights and response periods depend on the law applicable to that responsible person and your request.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Order records are typically retained for 3 years for accounting and legal purposes.

After account deletion, login credentials, profile details, saved conversations, personal knowledge data, and notification state are removed or anonymized. Order, payment, and invoice records may remain for the retention period above when required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or other legal obligations.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
