Cargo packaging before warehouse consolidation
Cargo packaging is a protection and handling decision as well as a consolidation decision. Check that goods cannot move inside the package, cushioning suits fragile parts, cartons can carry the intended load and labels remain readable. Larger pieces need a stable, suitable pallet or fork-movable base; confirm stackability and avoid carton overhang.
Approve the repacking scope before removing retail or supplier packaging. Record item counts and photos, keep SKU or order identities traceable, and measure the final packed shipment including any pallet or crate. Specialist crating, dangerous-goods packing and wood-treatment requirements need a separate review.
Choose cargo packaging before combining supplier orders
Review product fragility, internal movement, carton condition, load stability and the planned route before choosing a carton, pallet or crate.
Prepare: Product and existing-package photos, gross weight, outer dimensions, fragile areas, packing restrictions and delivery handling needs.
Avoids reducing volume by removing packaging that protects the product or is needed for handling.

Decide the packing work before approving the charge
The purchasing service fee includes supplier communication, purchasing, basic QC photos and videos, consolidation planning, packing requirement confirmation, and up to 7 days of warehouse storage. Physical consolidation and unpacking, repacking, and packing materials are billed separately under the current warehouse charge sheet. Special handling and storage beyond 7 days also follow that sheet; international freight is quoted separately.

Standard warehouse consolidation
Purchasing coordination includes consolidation planning and up to 7 days of storage. Physical consolidation, repacking and packing materials are charged separately under the warehouse charge sheet.
Confirmed separately
Product cost, China domestic freight, international freight, duties/taxes, special packing, FBA prep, restricted-cargo handling, detailed inspection and long-term storage are confirmed separately.
Final international freight
Final freight uses measured actual weight, volumetric weight, carton data, destination, address type and cargo attributes after warehouse processing. Seller estimates are only references.
Manual review triggers
- Parcels come from several suppliers with inconsistent SKU, quantity, tracking or arrival timing
- Cargo contains batteries, liquids, powders, magnets, cosmetics, food, branded-sensitive, fragile, auto-parts, machinery or oversized goods
- Target carton sizes, splitting, merging, relabeling, pallets, wood crating, reinforced packing, FBA prep or long-term storage is needed
- Destination is Amazon FBA, a commercial warehouse, trade show address, remote postal code or requires DDP/manual route confirmation
- Buyer needs detailed inspection, functional testing, supplier review or third-party inspection
Compliance and service boundary
- Basic QC photos are visible checks, not functional testing, laboratory testing, third-party inspection or supplier audits.
- Consolidation, standard repacking, DDP or low service fee does not remove customs rules. Item name, quantity, value, brand/IP status and destination requirements still need accurate confirmation.
- Restricted cargo should be reviewed before payment, consolidation and shipping. Do not submit restricted cargo as normal cargo or omit brand, material, volume or battery details.

What does up to 7 days of free storage mean?
The standard workflow can include up to 7 days of storage for waiting parcels, basic QC, consolidation and shipping preparation. Longer storage is confirmed separately.
Can basic QC photos replace inspection?
No. Basic QC normally covers outer package photos, front product photos and visible variant/color/quantity checks. Functional testing, complex inspection or third-party inspection must be confirmed separately.
Can I use warehouse consolidation if I already bought on Taobao or 1688 myself?
Yes. Send the seller list, China tracking numbers, parcel count, destination, and any consolidation instructions so the warehouse workflow can be screened before export.
When can final international freight be confirmed?
Usually after parcels arrive, consolidation or repacking is completed, and actual weight and carton dimensions are measured. Before intake, JTLGO can only provide route screening or a working estimate.
What should cargo packaging include before international shipping?
Use packaging suited to the product and handling method: internal protection, a sound outer carton or suitable pallet/crate, stable securing and readable identification. Confirm fragile or non-stackable cargo separately. Repacking can change freight measurements, so approve the protection level first and quote from the final packed weight and dimensions.
