JTLGO warehouse tutorial: photos, consolidation and tracking

Website Tutorial Published Oct 10, 2026 Updated Oct 11, 2026

Treat warehouse arrival as a checkpoint, not permission to ship. Before approving dispatch with JTLGO, match received goods to the buying list, inspect the available photos, resolve visible discrepancies and confirm the packed shipment. Consolidation can reduce empty space, but it can also add handling, materials or damage risk. Compare the complete options before deciding.

Find the order and its receiving evidence

Buyer Desk navigation includes Orders, Warehouse, Parcels, Rehearsals and Messages. Open the available record for the relevant order and keep its ID. The warehouse workflow exposes arrival photos and measured cargo data when available; the existence of a menu item does not mean your shipment has already been processed.

For each supplier parcel, record its tracking reference, expected SKU and quantity, arrival status and any unresolved issue. Three suppliers can generate more than three parcels. Ask support to identify a parcel you cannot match instead of assuming everything in one order arrived together.

Check photos with a specific question

Use a short review table rather than “looks fine.”

Question Evidence to request or inspect What it cannot prove
Correct variant? Model, size or color labels and overall view Hidden material differences
Correct quantity? Count record and group photo where practical Complete count from one close-up
Visible damage? Outer carton and affected item close-ups Internal function
Packaging suitable? Inner protection and carton view Survival on every route

Basic QC photos and videos support visible checks. They do not certify authenticity, functionality, regulatory compliance or the absence of hidden defects. If you need electrical testing, measurement tolerances or a defined sampling inspection, agree the scope, cost and evidence before treating it as completed.

Stop an unresolved problem before packing

Send the order ID, row reference, expected specification, observed issue and photo reference. For example: “A02 should be blue, 500 ml, 12 units. The label in photo 3 is black. Please confirm whether this is the wrong SKU before packing.” This is an illustrative message.

Ask which goods are affected and whether the order should wait. Seller return windows, eligibility and domestic return costs need confirmation; warehouse receipt does not create an automatic refund right. Keep any replacement approval in writing. If photos are insufficient, request the missing angle or measurement rather than approving by guesswork.

Choose consolidation only after comparing totals

Tell support which parcels may be combined, whether retail boxes must stay and which fragile items need protection. Keep original packaging when it serves a protective or resale purpose. Removing a box may reduce volume while making a fragile item less safe.

Hypothetical comparison: separate shipping costs USD 90. A consolidated option has USD 78 freight, USD 12 handling and USD 6 added protection, totaling USD 96. It is USD 6 more expensive even though the freight line is lower. These are invented calculation inputs, not JTLGO rates or a customer case. Include storage, timing and protection in a real comparison.

The pricing page, checked on 2026-10-09, provides 7 free storage days, with later storage and physical warehouse work billed under its charge sheet. Confirm when your storage clock starts, what weight is charged and whether delayed parcels change the plan. Coordination in the purchasing service does not make physical consolidation or materials free.

Approve the packed shipment and follow delivery

Use the freight order workspace for warehouse and shipping handoff. Check final carton count, actual weight, packed dimensions, chargeable weight, address, route scope and final bill. Inbound measurements are useful reference data; they are not necessarily the final packing measurements. Ask what changes would require a revised quote.

After dispatch, retain invoice, carton labels, packing evidence and tracking. A gap in tracking alone does not prove loss. Report the last event and number to support. If a damaged parcel arrives, document outer and inner packaging and affected goods promptly, and request the applicable claim procedure without assuming compensation is guaranteed.

Dispatch approval checklist

  • Received quantities and variants reconcile with the order.
  • Visible issues and requested inspection evidence are resolved.
  • Consolidation totals include work, materials and storage.
  • Packed measurements, route and destination are confirmed.
  • Records are saved for delivery questions or a claim.

If any checkpoint is still unclear, state what is missing in your sourcing message before approving dispatch.

Set a hold, a remedy and a release test

A warehouse issue record should name parcel ID, SKU row, expected fact, observed difference, photo/measurement reference and requested disposition. Copy: “Hold only A02 pending label confirmation; show the item and label together. Keep protective retail packaging. Quote any additional count or inspection work before doing it. Release only after the evidence and remedy are confirmed.” Photos may be insufficient; request a defined test instead of treating another attractive photo as proof.

The assumed USD 90 separate option and USD 78 consolidated freight leave only USD 12 for all extra work, protection and storage before savings disappear. USD 12 handling plus USD 6 protection exceeds that allowance: USD 96 total. Ask whether waiting for late parcels adds storage or changes the deadline. The break-even is arithmetic on assumed inputs, not an offered rate. Record who authorizes removal of packaging and what evidence is retained for an arrival claim.
